About Our Pharmacy
Located in the heart of Goochland, VA , we've been serving the communities of Goochland, Louisa and Powhatan since 1980. We firmly believe that being a hometown pharmacy means providing healthcare services to our patients that are customized to meet their needs. We also provide seasonal indoor and outdoor decor, Goochland apparel, fishing supplies, Richland's Dairy and Creamery products, locally made items, and unique gifts for ALL occasions. At our pharmacy, you are treated like family.
Meet The Team
Daryl “DJ” Johnson - Pharmacist
He was born and raised in Goochland and now raising his young family here, as well. DJ graduated from Virginia Tech, with a major in Biochemistry. He worked as an intern at Goochland Pharmacy, during pharmacy school. He has previously served as Pharmacy manager at Kroger for 6 years. DJ enjoys traveling, skiing, sports, and an avid fisherman. He was recently named VA Angler of the Year. DJ is now part owner and serves as our pharmacy manager at Goochland Pharmacy.
Kelly Corcoran - Pharmacist
She has been a Supermarket retail Pharmacist with Ukrop’s and Kroger for over 20 years. Kelly did a community Pharmacy Residency, and a Fellowship in Patient Safety. She resides in western Powhatan with her husband and two boys. She loves to travel, spend time with family and friends and stays busy with her sons sport teams. Kelly is now part owner and staff pharmacist at Goochland Pharmacy.
Debbie Mauzy - Pharmacist
She is as beautiful inside and out. Debbie has been with Goochland Pharmacy part-time for 40 years and is a familiar face for many. She loves her beagles and her bees and stays very busy with her farm and full-time job and helping serve our community, here in Goochland.
Sarah Taylor - Certified Pharmacy Technician, Office Manager
She has been a smiling face behind the counter since 2013. The daughter of our founding father, Pete Taylor, she has grown up in this store. Sarah is our primary merchandiser and marketing expert She makes sure all of your front store cards, gifts, and apparel are stocked and available, works with local schools, facilities, and businesses to make sure our community members are properly served. Goochland Pharmacy could not run without her!
Hailie Perdue - Certified Pharmacy Technician
She is a ball of energy and always willing to help wherever needed. With her former nurse training, Hailie provides manual blood pressure testing, and triaging our patients for medical visits. You never have to wonder what Hailie is thinking. She is the mother to a young son and resides in Glen Allen, Va. Hailie has been a Certified Technician since 2019 and huge asset to our Pharmacy staff.
Rhonda - Clerk
She is never standing still and a super hard worker. She is very personal and enjoys conversation with all of our customers. Rhonda is originally from Georgia, and previously worked for Anthem prior to becoming a stay-at- home mom. She is a Goochland resident and proud wife and mom to a teenage daughter. Rhonda loves to sing and put a smile on people's face. She keeps the store clean, organized, and stocked. We love having her here!
Grace- Clerk
She is a young, shining face that helps us serve our customers here at Goochland Pharmacy, Grace is a graduate from GHS and a huge asset to our team here at Goochland Pharmacy. She presses our Goochland apparel, processes balloon orders, maintains inventory and keeps things organized and comical. She has moved 6 times and currently resides in Goochland with her parents and younger brother.
